Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how the SignalPilot mobile application (“SignalPilot”, “the app”) and the public website at signalpilotapp.es handle information. It is written to reflect what the app and site actually do today, and to support Google Play Data Safety review.
Who we are
SignalPilot is an independent consumer utility. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Huawei or any other router manufacturer. There is no separate corporate legal entity named in this policy beyond the SignalPilot product and the operator of signalpilotapp.es.
Summary
- SignalPilot does not create user accounts and does not require sign-in.
- The current mobile app uses on-device demo diagnostic data. It does not currently contact a SignalPilot cloud backend to sync personal profiles or telemetry.
- No third-party analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting SDKs are bundled in the current mobile app dependencies.
- Future versions may talk to your router on the local network. That traffic stays between your device and your router unless you later enable an optional cloud feature (none exists today).
Information the app accesses or may access
Depending on platform permissions and future local-network features, SignalPilot may access:
- Local network / Internet capability — required so the device can communicate with a router on your LAN in future live builds, and so in-app links (Privacy, Terms, Support) can open this website.
- Router / CPE diagnostic information — when live local transport is enabled, read-only telemetry such as signal quality indicators, connection status, device identity or firmware strings, and related technical fields exposed by the router’s local admin interface. Today’s shipping MVP presents comparable information from on-device demo data only.
- Audio playback / audio-related permissions — used for optional measurement feedback tones while you evaluate placement (for example on the Position screen). SignalPilot does not record microphone audio for analysis or upload.
- Haptics / vibration — used for optional tactile feedback in the interface.
- On-device storage — temporary app state needed to run the UI (for example in-memory demo persona / screen state). SignalPilot does not operate a cloud account database.
SignalPilot is not designed to collect government ID numbers, precise continuous location tracking for advertising, contacts, photos, or payment card data.
What we collect on the website
The public website at signalpilotapp.es publishes product and legal information. It does not provide user accounts. Standard web hosting (Vercel) may process technical request data such as IP address, user agent, and timestamps as part of delivering pages and maintaining service security. We do not intentionally embed third-party advertising trackers on these pages.
Purpose of processing
- Provide diagnostic and placement guidance on your device.
- Open public support and legal pages when you choose those links.
- Operate and secure the public website.
Storage and retention
Diagnostic readings shown in the app are processed on your device for the session / UI state. Because there are no SignalPilot user accounts, we do not retain a personal account profile in a SignalPilot cloud service. Website hosting logs, if retained by the host, follow the host’s operational retention practices for security and abuse prevention.
Sharing and third parties
We do not sell personal information. The current mobile app does not integrate analytics, advertising, or crash-reporting vendors. The website is hosted by Vercel. If you email support (once a contact address is published), that correspondence is processed only to respond to your request.
Router credentials, if you enter them in a future live-transport build, are treated as device secrets for authenticating to your own router. They are not intended to be uploaded to a SignalPilot server.
Security
We apply reasonable technical measures appropriate to a local diagnostic utility and a static public website (HTTPS for signalpilotapp.es, least-privilege design for future local router access). No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure.
Children’s privacy
SignalPilot is a general-audience networking utility and is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights and choices
Because SignalPilot does not create accounts, there is no in-app account deletion flow. You can stop using the app and uninstall it at any time, which removes the app and its local data from your device subject to your operating system’s uninstall behaviour.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to or deletion of personal information we hold about you (for example email you send to support). Contact us via the Support page.
International users
signalpilotapp.es may be hosted on infrastructure that processes requests in more than one region. By using the website or app, you understand that technical processing necessary to deliver the service may occur outside your country of residence.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as SignalPilot’s features change (for example when live router transport or optional cloud features ship). The effective date at the top will change when we do. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
